Overview

Gfi Scout is a Model Context Protocol server that helps you discover open source issues perfect for beginners. It ranks opportunities by a 0-100 beginner score, so you can find tasks where you're likely to succeed and contribute meaningfully to projects you care about.

The server runs locally on your machine as a Python package installed via uvx gfi-scout. It requires no authentication and needs no external credentials—just install and go.
