Genesys Memory

Overview

Genesys Memory is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Open-source causal memory for AI agents: persistent, explainable, MCP-native memory (13 tools). In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Genesys Memory's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the Python package genesys-memory (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v0.5.2, published under the AGPL-3.0 license, with source at Astrix-Labs/genesys on GitHub, where it has earned 24 stars.
