Finnhub Mcp Server

Overview

Finnhub Mcp Server brings real-time US-equity quotes, company fundamentals, earnings, analyst trends, and news directly into your AI workflow via the Finnhub API. By speaking the Model Context Protocol, it lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients call Finnhub tools natively instead of requiring manual data lookup.

The server runs locally through the npm package @cyanheads/finnhub-mcp-server, installed via npx -y @cyanheads/finnhub-mcp-server. You'll need a FINNHUB_API_KEY environment variable to authenticate. The project is released under Apache-2.0 and maintained at cyanheads/finnhub-mcp-server on GitHub.

Listed in the Finance category on mcp.site, Finnhub Mcp Server works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim your listing to earn the Verified badge and keep ownership confirmed.
