Fimemory

Overview

Fimemory is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Local-first shared memory for AI tools. Your files, encrypted at rest by default; budgeted reads. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Fimemory's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package fimemory speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v0.5.0, with source at FutureAiIndustries/FI-Memory on GitHub.
