Overview

Fcpxml Mcp Server is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Final Cut Pro automation: 62 tools for FCPXML editing, QC, live push-to-FCP, and media analysis. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package fcp-mcp-server (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.13.1.
