Familiar Mcp

Overview

Familiar Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that automates your real macOS Chrome browser through AppleScript. It provides 32 tools for browser control and web interaction, letting Claude and other AI assistants drive Chrome directly without manual copy-pasting between apps.

The server runs locally via the npm package @dominion525/familiar-mcp, speaking MCP over stdio on your machine. No authentication is required. Version v0.1.2 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at dominion525/familiar on GitHub.

Familiar Mcp is listed in the Development category on mcp.site and works with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this project, claim your listing to earn the Verified badge and keep information up to date.
