Overview

Exchange Rates Mcp Server is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants direct access to currency conversion, live foreign exchange rates, and historical ECB exchange rate data. Instead of manually looking up rates across tabs, your AI tools can query them as callable functions.

You can deploy it two ways: use the hosted endpoint at https://exchange-rates.caseyjhand.com/mcp with zero setup, or install the npm package @cyanheads/exchange-rates-mcp-server locally on your machine. The latest release is v0.3.1 under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code available at cyanheads/exchange-rates-mcp-server on GitHub.
