Excaliwow

Overview

Excaliwow is a Model Context Protocol server that lets AI agents create, read, render, organize, and safely edit persistent Excalidraw diagrams. It exposes diagram operations as tools your AI assistant can invoke directly, turning visual collaboration into an agent-driven workflow.

The server runs locally via the npm package @excaliwow/mcp, communicating over stdio on your machine. You'll need to provide an EXCALIWOW_TOKEN for authentication. Version v0.14.3 is available now under the Apache-2.0 license, with full source code at excaliwow/mcp on GitHub.
