Overview

EPW.tools is an MCP server that provides access to EnergyPlus weather files including EPW, DDY, and STAT files for any site. It supports actual, typical, forecast, and future climate data, making it useful for building simulation and climate analysis workflows. The server integrates directly with AI assistants, exposing weather data retrieval as tools they can invoke.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package epwtools using uvx, communicating with MCP clients over stdio.
