EdgarParser MCP

Overview

EdgarParser MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that connects AI assistants to source-backed SEC EDGAR financial data via the hosted EdgarParser API. It exposes SEC filings and financial information as tools that Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients can invoke directly.

The server runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx edgar-mcp and communicates over stdio. You'll need to provide your EDGAR_API_KEY through an environment variable to authenticate with the EdgarParser API. The latest release is v1.0.2, available from henrysouchien/edgar-mcp on GitHub.
