DWG MCP Server

Overview

DWG MCP Server gives AI assistants read-only access to DWG files through the Model Context Protocol. Any MCP-compatible AI client can use its tools directly, letting the model decide when to read and analyze CAD drawings during conversations or agent workflows.

The server runs locally via the npm package @dmytro-prototypes/dwg-mcp-server, communicating over stdio without requiring any credentials. Version v0.2.3 is available under the GPL-3.0 license, with full source code at dimitrovakulenko/dwg-mcp-server on GitHub.
