Overview

Discord MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that brings least-privilege Discord access to your AI assistant. It enables privacy-safe reads, audits, and reviewed administration through a single MCP connection, letting Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other compatible clients invoke Discord operations as needed.

The server runs locally via npx -y @j-256/discord-mcp and requires only a DISCORD_BOT_TOKEN environment variable to authenticate. Version v0.1.1 is available now under the AGPL-3.0 license, with full source code at j-256/discord-mcp on GitHub.
