Overview

Discord MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants safe access to Discord guild data and optional bot message management. Any MCP-compatible AI can use its tools directly, with the model deciding when to call them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally via the npm package @hypark5540/discord-mcp, communicating over stdio. You'll need to provide a DISCORD_TOKEN environment variable for authentication. Version v0.1.1 is available under the MIT license, with source code at hypark5540/discord-mcp on GitHub.
