DICOMweb MCP Server

Overview

DICOMweb MCP Server exposes a DICOMweb DICOM archive to AI assistants through QIDO-RS and WADO-RS protocols. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call the server's tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally via the npm package dicomweb-mcp-server, communicating over stdio. You'll need to set the DICOMWEB_HOST environment variable and provide an API key for authentication. Version v0.0.4 is available under the MIT license, with source code at PantelisGeorgiadis/dicomweb-mcp-server on GitHub.
