View on GitHub ↗

Overview

Desktop Hypervisor Mcp provides a unified interface to VirtualBox and VMware Fusion/Workstation through the Model Context Protocol. Instead of switching between hypervisor tools, you can let your AI assistant manage virtual machines through a single provider-neutral surface.

The server runs locally with no authentication required and works immediately after installation. Version v2.1.2 is available under the MIT license with source code hosted at bryanjbelanger/desktop-hypervisor-mcp on GitHub.

Listed in the Development category, Desktop Hypervisor Mcp integrates with any MCP client including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this server, claim your listing to verify ownership and keep information up to date.
