Db Access Mcp

Overview

Db Access Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that connects your AI assistant to Postgres, MySQL, Redshift, and SQL Server databases. It routes connections through SSH or AWS SSM tunnels and integrates with secret providers like AWS Secrets Manager and HashiCorp Vault, letting any MCP-compatible AI safely query and interact with your databases.

The server runs locally as an npm package. Install it with npx -y @rheopyrin/db-access-mcp and it will communicate with your MCP client over stdio. No credentials are required upfront — configuration happens at runtime. The latest release is v0.1.4, published under the MIT license with full source code available at Rheopyrin/db-access-mcp on GitHub.
