Overview

Dataxplan Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Read PostgreSQL EXPLAIN plans for AI agents: bottlenecks, estimation errors, fixes, charts. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package dataxplan-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.1.0.
