Datanika Mcp

Overview

Datanika Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Read-only-by-default MCP for Datanika: browse data, run dbt transforms, manage ELT pipelines. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Datanika Mcp's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the Python package datanika-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need DATANIKA_API_KEY. The current release is v0.2.0, published under the AGPL-3.0 license, with source at datanika-io/datanika-core on GitHub.
