Overview

Datadog Mcp is a Model Context Protocol server that gives AI assistants full access to the Datadog API. Work with monitors, logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, and observability tools directly from your MCP client, letting Claude and other AI models query and manage your Datadog environment on your behalf.

The server runs locally via npx -y datadog-mcp and communicates over stdio. You'll need to provide DD_API_KEY and DD_APP_KEY environment variables to authenticate. Version v1.0.9 is available under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code at tantiope/datadog-mcp-server on GitHub.
