Cursor Proxmox MCP

Overview

Cursor Proxmox MCP is a Model Context Protocol server that brings Proxmox VE management into your AI assistant. Control QEMU and LXC virtual machines, manage storage and high-availability clusters, configure firewalls, and handle access permissions—all through natural conversation with any MCP-compatible AI.

The server runs locally on your machine as a Python package. Install it via uvx cursor-proxmox-mcp and configure it with the PROXMOX_MCP_CONFIG environment variable, which holds your Proxmox API credentials. Version v1.9.0 is available under the MIT license, with full source code at hackmods/cursor-proxmox-mcp on GitHub.
