Ctxfile

Overview

Ctxfile is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Local-first MCP server that snapshots your project's working state into one context object. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package ctxfile speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. The current release is v0.4.1, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at ctxfile/ctxfile on GitHub.
