Crochet Engine

Overview

Crochet Engine is a Model Context Protocol server that transforms photos into crochet charts with deterministic precision. It calculates stitch counts, supports five crochet techniques, and provides yarn estimates to help crafters plan projects accurately. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call its tools directly during conversations or agent workflows.

The server runs locally via the Python package crochetpatterngen-engine, installed with uvx crochetpatterngen-engine. It communicates with your MCP client over stdio and requires no credentials or external authentication. Version v0.1.1 is available under the MIT license, with source code at dengyu123456/crochet-engine on GitHub.
