Contractor License Verification (TradesAPI)

Overview

Contractor License Verification (TradesAPI) is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you verify contractor licenses across 50 states, DC, and 8 major cities. Query license status, expiration dates, and disciplinary history directly from any MCP-compatible AI assistant—the model decides when and how to use these tools in conversation or agent workflows.

Run it two ways: connect to the hosted endpoint at https://www.tradesapi.com/mcp with no local setup, or install locally via npx -y contractor-license-mcp-server. You'll need CLV_API_URL and CLV_API_KEY environment variables. Version v0.8.0 ships under the MIT license with source code at Noquarter6/contractor-license-mcp-server on GitHub.
