Contactsmcp

Overview

Contactsmcp is an MCP server that brings your macOS Contacts.app into Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools. It uses AppleScript to let AI assistants read, search, and manage your contacts programmatically, turning contact operations into callable tools instead of manual copy-paste work.

The server runs locally on your Mac via the npm package @aernoud/contactsmcp and requires no authentication or credentials. Version v0.4.0 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code open at aernouddekker/macos-mcp on GitHub.
