Constraints Registry

Overview

Constraints Registry is a Model Context Protocol server that enforces policy-as-code guardrails for AI coding agents. It validates policies through OPA, Conftest, Checkov, and Semgrep, letting any MCP-compatible AI assistant call its tools to apply governance constraints during coding sessions.

The server runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx constraints-registry, communicating over stdio with no authentication required. It launches immediately and works out of the box. Version v0.1.1 is available under the Apache-2.0 license with source code at SureshKhemka/constraints-registry on GitHub.
