Computer Use

Overview

Computer Use is a local MCP server that automates your desktop by controlling the mouse, keyboard, screen, windows, and processes. It exposes these capabilities as tools that AI assistants can invoke directly, letting Claude and other models interact with your computer on your behalf.

The server runs locally on your machine via the npm package go-computer-use-mcp-server, communicating over stdio with no authentication required. You can install it instantly with npx -y go-computer-use-mcp-server. The latest release is v1.1.4, built in Go and available at hightemp/go_computer_use_mcp_server on GitHub.
