Overview

Computer Use is a Model Context Protocol server that automates your computer through screenshots, mouse, and keyboard control. It integrates directly with AI assistants as callable tools, letting Claude and other models interact with your desktop environment.

The server runs locally via the npm package computer-use-mcp, installed with npx -y computer-use-mcp. No authentication required. Version v1.8.0 is available under the MIT license, with source code at domdomegg/computer-use-mcp on GitHub, where the project has 356 stars.
