Collective Memory

Overview

Collective Memory is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP server for persistent, semantic memory across AI sessions. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package collective-memory speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need OPENAI_API_KEY. The current release is v0.1.2, published under the MIT license, with source at Hustada/collective-memory on GitHub.
