CLIO Terrain

Overview

CLIO Terrain is an MCP server that brings terrain analysis directly into your AI assistant. It reads digital elevation models to compute slope and aspect, evaluates terrain suitability, and processes point-cloud data through reading and gridding operations. Use it to analyze geographical features programmatically whenever you're working with spatial data.

The server runs locally on your machine via the clio-kit Python package, installed with uvx clio-kit. It communicates with your MCP client over stdio and requires no authentication or external credentials. Version v2.2.3 is available under the BSD-3-Clause license, with full source code at iowarp/clio-kit on GitHub.
