CLIO Paraview

Overview

CLIO Paraview is an MCP server that brings ParaView scientific visualization into your AI workflow. It lets Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients call ParaView tools directly, eliminating the need to switch between applications or manually transfer data.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package clio-kit, installed with uvx clio-kit. No authentication is required—it connects over stdio and works immediately after setup. The latest release is v2.2.3, distributed under the BSD-3-Clause license with source code available at iowarp/clio-kit on GitHub.
