CLIO Lmod

Overview

CLIO Lmod is an MCP server that brings environment module management to AI assistants. It provides comprehensive module operations, letting Claude, Cursor, and other MCP clients call Lmod tools directly rather than switching between applications.

The server runs locally as a Python package installed via uvx clio-kit, communicating with your AI client over standard input and output. No authentication is needed. Version v2.2.3 is available now under the BSD-3-Clause license, with source code and development at iowarp/clio-kit on GitHub.
