CLIO Geojson

Overview

CLIO Geojson is an MCP server that lets you inspect, validate, and summarize GeoJSON documents directly within your AI assistant. Instead of manually exporting and validating files elsewhere, you can work with GeoJSON through callable tools in Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients.

The server runs locally on your machine via the clio-kit Python package. Install it with uvx clio-kit and it communicates with your MCP client over stdio. No authentication is needed—it works immediately after installation. The latest release is v2.2.3, distributed under the BSD-3-Clause license.
