CLIO Adios

Overview

CLIO Adios is a Model Context Protocol server that fetches and analyzes BP5 data files using ADIOS2. It gives AI assistants direct access to scientific data, metadata, and attributes, allowing models to inspect and work with HPC datasets in conversation or agent workflows.

The server runs locally through the clio-kit Python package, installed via uvx clio-kit. It communicates with MCP clients over stdio and requires no authentication or credentials.
