Overview

Claude Token Saver Mcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: MCP server that offloads routine coding tasks to local LLM (Ollama) to save Claude API tokens. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the npm package claude-token-saver-mcp speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.3.2, published under the Apache-2.0 license, with source at BlackFoil/claude-token-saver-mcp on GitHub.
