Claude Replay

Overview

Claude Replay is an MCP server that enables session checkpoint and recovery within Claude Code. It lets you resume interrupted sessions, search through recorded interactions, tag important moments, and export session data for archival or analysis. By exposing these capabilities through the Model Context Protocol, Claude Replay turns session management into callable tools that AI assistants can invoke directly.

The server runs locally on your machine via the uvx command uvx claude-replay, which installs and launches the Python package claude-replay over stdio. No authentication or external credentials are required—it works immediately after installation. Version v0.4.3 is the current release, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at constripacity/Claude-Replay on GitHub.
