Overview

Claude Mcp Bridge wraps the Claude Code CLI as MCP tools, exposing query, search, structured, ping, and listSessions functions. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call these tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally via the npm package claude-mcp-bridge, which communicates over stdio. Install it with npx -y claude-mcp-bridge and provide an API Key for authentication. The latest release is v0.7.1, published under the MIT license with source code available at hampsterx/claude-mcp-bridge on GitHub.
