Checkmcp

Overview

Checkmcp is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Audit any MCP server's security & quality — OWASP MCP Top 10 + explainable 0-100 MCP Score. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.

It runs locally: the Python package audit-mcp (via uvx) speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box. The current release is v0.5.0, published under the MIT license, with source at H129hj/checkmcp on GitHub.
