Chainweb API

Overview

Chainweb API is a Model Context Protocol server that connects AI assistants to Chainweb HTTP functionality. It enables local simulation, pre-signed transaction sending, polling, table reads, SPV proofs, and module deployment—all accessible directly from MCP-compatible clients that can invoke these tools during conversations and agent workflows.

The server runs locally via the npm package @pact-community/mcp-chainweb, communicating over stdio. Setup requires two environment variables: PACT_COMMUNITY_WORKSPACE_ROOT and PACT_COMMUNITY_CHAINWEB_MODE. Version v0.2.3 is available now under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code at Pact-Community-Organization/pact-mcp on GitHub.
