Overview

Cartographer is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Governance MCP server for agent-maintained knowledge bases (OKF): git-backed writes, search, lint. Because it speaks the Model Context Protocol, AI assistants can use Cartographer as a set of callable tools instead of you copy-pasting between apps.

It runs locally: the Docker image ghcr.io/beppetemp/cartographer:v0.9.0 speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. No credentials are required — it works out of the box.
