BumpGuard

Overview

BumpGuard is a Model Context Protocol server that identifies which of your code's API usages break when you upgrade a dependency across Python, .NET, and Java. Any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call BumpGuard's tools directly, letting the model decide when to use them during conversations or agent runs.

The server runs locally through the bumpguard-mcp Python package, installed via uvx. It communicates over stdio on your machine with no credentials required. Version v0.2.1 is available under the MIT license, with source code at appcreationsca/bumpguard-mcp on GitHub.
