Btcmcp

Overview

Btcmcp is a Model Context Protocol server that retrieves Bitcoin price data from the Binance API. It exposes this data as tools your AI assistant can invoke directly, giving Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients instant access to current Bitcoin pricing information.

The server runs locally on your machine via the Python package btcmcp, installed with uvx btcmcp. It communicates with your AI assistant over stdio and requires no authentication to get started. Version v0.1.2 is the latest release, with full source code available at iworkist/btcmcp on GitHub.
