Bray

Overview

Bray is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Trust-aware Nostr for AI agents -- 235 tools covering social, DMs, zaps, trust, and identity. In practice that means any MCP-compatible AI assistant can call Bray's tools directly — the model decides when to use them in a conversation or agent run.

It runs locally: the npm package nostr-bray speaks MCP over stdio on your machine. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need NOSTR_SECRET_KEY, NOSTR_RELAYS. The current release is v1.27.7, published under the MIT license, with source at forgesworn/bray on GitHub.
