boxpdf

Overview

boxpdf is a resource-only MCP server that provides documentation and templates for the boxpdf TypeScript PDF layout library. MCP-compatible AI assistants can access boxpdf's resources directly, with the model deciding when to incorporate them into conversations or agent workflows.

The server runs locally via the command npx -y boxpdf, which starts the npm package and communicates over stdio. No authentication is required. The latest release is v1.0.3, distributed under the MIT license with source code available at earonesty/boxpdf on GitHub, where the project has 15 stars.

boxpdf is categorized as a File System tool on mcp.site and integrates with all MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain boxpdf, you can claim this listing to verify your ownership, receive the Verified badge, and ensure the information stays up to date.
