Overview

Bomly is a Model Context Protocol server that gives your coding agent visibility into the dependency graph before making changes. It scans your project dependencies, diffs them across versions, explains what changed, and audits for compliance issues. By exposing dependency analysis as MCP tools, Bomly lets Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other AI assistants understand the full impact of dependency modifications in real time.

The server runs entirely on your machine via the npm package bomly-mcp, communicating over stdio without requiring any authentication or external credentials.
