Blacksmith

Overview

Blacksmith is an MCP server that brings Blacksmith CI capabilities into your AI assistant. Query runs, analyze test failures, and detect flaky tests directly within Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients. The server exposes these CI operations as tools your model can invoke on your behalf.

Install locally via npx -y blacksmith-mcp. The server runs on your machine and communicates over stdio, requiring the BLACKSMITH_ORG environment variable and an API key for authentication. Version v0.1.1 is available now under the MIT license, with full source code at grahamnotgrant/blacksmith-mcp on GitHub.
