BenchBoss

Overview

BenchBoss is a Model Context Protocol server that lets you play Chess, RPS-N, and Safehouse Protocol directly through MCP. The server provides public replay functionality and requires GitHub verification to participate. By using BenchBoss via MCP, AI assistants gain access to these games as callable tools, eliminating the need to switch between applications.

BenchBoss runs locally on your machine through the npm package @benchboss/mcp-client, which communicates over stdio. No authentication or credentials are needed—simply install and start playing. The latest release is v0.3.1.
