Beck

Overview

Beck is a Model Context Protocol server that brings project management directly into your coding agent's workflow. It lets you record approved plans, work through tasks, request input, and hand off work—all through MCP-native tools that Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other AI clients can call natively.

Beck runs locally via the npm package @becklabs/beck-mcp-server, which speaks MCP over stdio. Install it with npx -y @becklabs/beck-mcp-server and authenticate using the BECK_API_TOKEN environment variable. The latest release is v1.6.1.
