Overview

Baryon is a Model Context Protocol server that connects your AI assistant to Proton Mail through your local Proton Mail Bridge. Read incoming messages and compose drafts directly from Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients without leaving your conversation.

The server runs locally and requires no authentication—it communicates with Proton Mail Bridge that's already running on your machine. Version v0.5.0 is available under the BSD-3-Clause license, with full source code at combor/baryon-mcp on GitHub.

Baryon appears in the Communication category on mcp.site and works with MCP clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, and Zed. If you maintain this project, claim your listing to verify ownership and keep the information up to date.
