BankSync is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server: Connect AI agents to bank accounts, transactions, balances, and investments. As an MCP server it plugs straight into AI assistants, exposing its functionality as tools the model can invoke on your behalf.
You can run BankSync two ways: connect to the hosted endpoint at https://mcp.banksync.io with no local install, or run it on your own machine via the npm package @banksync/mcp. Configuration happens through environment variables — you'll need BANKSYNC_API_KEY. The current release is v1.0.2, published under the MIT license, with source at banksynchq/banksync-mcp on GitHub.
