Bamboo MCP Server

Overview

Bamboo MCP Server is a read-only Model Context Protocol server that connects your AI assistant to self-hosted Atlassian Bamboo CI/CD instances. It exposes Bamboo functionality as tools your AI can invoke, enabling you to query and interact with your Bamboo builds and pipelines directly from Claude, Cursor, VS Code, and other MCP clients.

The server runs locally via Docker using the image ghcr.io/hmdmph/bamboo-mcp:0.1.2. Setup requires three environment variables: BAMBOO_URL, BAMBOO_TOKEN (API key authentication), and MCP_TRANSPORT. The latest release is v0.1.2 under the Apache-2.0 license, with source code available at hmdmph/bamboo-mcp on GitHub.
